About Me

I’ve been work­ing as a free­lance jour­nal­ist and writer since fin­ish­ing my Master’s of Jour­nal­ism at Ryer­son in 2009. I also do some work as an asso­ciate pro­ducer at CBC Radio.

Orig­i­nally from Van­cou­ver, I’ve taught Eng­lish in Cen­tral Amer­ica and Mon­treal, stud­ied in Mex­ico for a year through a uni­ver­sity exchange, and given work­shops on com­puter skills in South Africa. I have a bachelor’s degree in Inter­na­tional Rela­tions from the Uni­ver­sity of British Colum­bia and am flu­ent in Eng­lish, French and Spanish.

I live in Toronto with my hus­band and son.
